Sell-out concert hits right note
A CONCERT by the award-winning Steeton Male Voice Choir in Padiham has been hailed a success by promoters.
Mayor of Pendle Coun Smith Benson, a guest of honour at the sell-out show at the Padiham Unitarian Chapel, enjoyed a host of choral numbers and four solo items.
The next fundraising musical offering at the venue features the Swing Commanders on May 3. Admission will be £8, in aid of the North West Air Ambulance, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and the chapel.
