A HASLINGDEN nursery has been labelled outstanding by education watchdog Ofsted.
The Parish Nursery, in Lower Lane, Haslingden, was given the highest possible rating during a recent inspection.
Inspector Yvonne Holt said in a report: “Staff provide an excellent variety of stimulating activities in an exciting and extremely vibrant learning environment.
“Because of this, children are highly motivated to be actively involved in their learning, leading to them making excellent progress in their development.”
The report also said children’s wellbring was promoted through ‘excellent’ healthy menus and were given ‘exceptional support’ The report continued: “Leadership is inspirational.
“There is meticulous focus on monitoring, evaluation and reflective practice.”
