Man faces charges over M65 incident
A MAN has appeared in court after an incident on the M65 which brought traffic to a standstill on Friday night.
Kieran Joyce, 36, of Bolton Road, Abbey Village, near Chorley was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm, assault of a constable and careless driving.
He appeared before Blackburn magistrates yesterday and was remanded in custody for a trial at Preston Crown Court on July 9.
