EX-military personnel from all walks of life have joined a choir in Haslingden.
The Veterans in Communities Choir, founded by the Valley-based charity that supports service people and their families, has had a positive response since holding its first two session at the VIC Centre in Bury Road.
Choirmaster and VIC member Peter Webster said: “I am delighted by the response. On the first week, Karen Rothwell, who is ex-army, spotted the poster.
“Last week, we had the managing director of transport company Rosso, Brian Juffs, come along and join us, as he is also ex-services.
Peter was a military musician, is a singing teacher, and a member of Fitton Factor Community Choir.
