A GRADE II listed office building in Burnley is set to become a home.
Number 74 Manchester Road has been empty since 2010, planning officers said, and turning it into a home could attract tenants.
Approving the plans, officers said in a report ‘living within the town centre is encouraged’, and that the development would improve the area. The building is adjacent to taxi company Millennium Private Hire, but officers decided the noise levels would be acceptable, and gave the go ahead for work to begin.
