WORK by a Lancashire artist is going on show at Picture House Gallery in Padiham.
Chris Cyprus’s work harks back to the time when street lights were yellow and not white.
His Northern Lights series of paintings aims to preserve on canvas Britain’s street light system.
Self-taught as an artist, Chris has been painting professionally since 1999.
He previously worked in the building trade.
Chris is still working on the Northern Lights series and is on track to produce 100 paintings that reflect different scenes – currently he has just completed Painting number 91.
