VISITORS to the Environment Centre in Broadway, Accrington, will be able to swap, lend, borrow and share topical books with other literacy enthusiasts next weekend.
The Prospects Foundation is hosting a book share cafe between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, March 1, to mark World Book Day.
Activity organiser, Barbara Sharples, said: “We are hosting the event to make people aware of the range and diversity of the environmental books that are available.
“We are only looking for books relating to the environment such as wildlife, birds, plants, permaculture, sewing, crafting, and recycling, An ambassador for book company Barefoot Books, Helen Dawson, will visit the centre between 11am and noon.
