Choirs will raise notes for charities
A CONCERT will be held in Blackburn in aid of three charities.
Blackburn Civic Voice have organised the event at Blackburn Cathedral from 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 11.
A mass choir made up of 250 people from nine choirs from across East Lancashire will perform on the night.
The money raised will be donated to the East Lancashire Hospice, Derian House and the Cathedral Appeal.
The mayors of Blackburn, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley and Darwen will all be attending as well as a selection of school choirs.
Organisers are hoping there will be a full house on the night.
Some of the hymns that will be sung have been written by organiser David Smallie from Mellor Brook.
