FAMILIES in East Lancashire have been urged to clear out their cupboards, dig through their drawers and donate any unwanted items to help Cancer Research UK.
The charity has provided drop-off boxes at the TK Maxx stores in Blackburn and Burnley as part of its ‘Give Up Clothes for Good’ campaign.
Jane Bullock, Cancer Research UK North West spokesperson, said: “Unwanted clothes really could save more lives which is why we’re asking people to give what they can. All you do is fill a bag.”
