HOPSTAR brewer Natalie Tyson has been named January 2014 ‘Brewer of the Month’ by the Lancashire Beer Circle. Natalie looks after the brewing operation of the firm, launched by dad Barry in 2004. Working out of a unit at Rinus Business Park, off Grimshaw Street, Natalie helps produce popular ales such as Dizzy Danny, Smokey Joe’s, and Lancashire Gold. The Lancashire Beer Circle was set up to connect local brewers with local beer drinkers, and to educate and inform about the many different types of real ale on the market.
