A NEW venue has been found for neighbourhood campaigners in Colne – and they are keen to encourage fresh blood for 2014. Members of Waterside Neighbourhood Action Group will now be based in the hall at the top of Blucher Street, off West Street, with their next meeting at the premises on March 3, from 7pm. Recent achievements by the group include having railings repainted, benches sited, communal areas cleared and planted, stone pathways repaired, and front garden walls renewed. “We would very much welcome new members to our core group,” said a spokesman.
