PUPILS at Rhyddings Business and Enterprise School in Oswaldtwistle have taken part in a Citizenship Day.
The year seven pupils took part in a range of workshops focused on public safety, public transport safety, the dangers of alcohol and risky behaviour, and the problem of hoax calls and arson.
The children also enjoyed a talk by Chris Wilcox from charity WaterAid. Late last year, pupils at the school raised more than £1,110 for projects run by WaterAid in Zambia, and year seven pupils Tamzin Riley, Muieez Ali, and Cooper Nicoll presented Mr Wilcox with a cheque.
Assistant headteacher, Iffat Hussain, said: “I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of all our students. “We have had some wonderful ideas.”
