ADMIRAL Taverns is to host a recruitment day in Burnley for people who want to take on their own pub.
The Pub Company of the Year is looking to attract entrepreneurs from the region who fancy being their own boss and running a pub. The open day will take place at the Foresters Arms, in Todmorden Road, on Wednesday, between 11am and 6pm. Suzanne Smith, head of licensee recruitment and training at Admiral Taverns, said: “The life of a pub licensee can be extremely varied, and rewarding.
“Publicans have a crucial role to play in communities as their businesses provide an essential hub for local people and organisations to meet in, and socialise. “We’re looking for driven, inspirational individuals who aspire to run a great community pub, and who want the freedom and flexibility that comes with running their own business.”
