A COUNCILLOR has urged voluntary and community groups to make submissions for the final slice of a neighbourhood fund in Ramsbottom. Each year Bury Council makes a pot available for good causes, with grants of up to £250 available. Currently there is more than £440 remaining in Ramsbottom’s reserve. And ward councillor Ian Bevan is warning that this money must be spent before the end of March 2014. Coun Bevan is urging anyone who believes that they may qualify for assistance to contact him by calling the number 07754 301814.
