A VULNERABLE pensioner was knocked to the floor in a robbery at his own home.
Two men knocked on the 66-year-old’s front door, in Oak Street, Colne, at around 6pm on Saturday, January 18. When he has answered the door, the men bundled him to the floor and searched the property. They escaped with a bank book.
Both men are described as white, and were wearing dark clothing, with hoods up Detective Sergeant Nick Hodgeson, of Pennine CID, said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim who sustained minor injuries to his face and hands, and we urgently need anyone with any information that could assist us to come forward.”
