A NURSERY school has applied to expand one of its current buildings in order to accommodate more pupils.
Bacup Nursery School, in Cowtoot Lane, wants to create a 30 square metre extension so it can host lessons for an extra 12 children.
The nursery said more space was needed ‘in accordance with the new central government policy of introducing free entitlement places for two-year-olds’.
Lancashire County Council will decide if planning permission should be granted later this year.
