THE organisers of a Ribble Valley village’s first Scarecrow festival have announced that it will be held on June 28.
An organising committee made up of Gisburn villagers has been put together to hold the event this summer.
It follows the success of similar festivals elsewhere in East Lancashire, including Trawden and Higham.
The plans were discussed at Gisburn Festival Hall committee meeting last week and more volunteers are sought. An appeal for volunteers has been made through the Gisburn Community Facebook page.
