A CONTROVERSIAL housing application in Sabden has been deferred at a meeting of Ribble Valley Borough Councillors. Residents have campaigned against the plan since May last year and set up an action group, ‘Love Sabden’, to express their views. The application is for 14 houses and three bungalows on the site in Pendle Street East. Councillors said further investigation was needed from the highways department.
