CHILDREN from St John’s Primary School, Higham, have been helping to restore a hay meadow at Height Top Farm.
Janet Sharp, who runs the farm with husband Ken, and Sarah Robinson, the Bowland Hay Time project officer, organised th event.
The children learnt about the importance of meadows then spent an energetic hour spreading seed collected from flower rich meadows in the Slaidburn area of the Forest of Bowland.
