A LAPTOP containing the treasured pictures of a Rishton family has been stolen.
Scott Mason, from Windermere Drive, was left ‘sickened’ after a thief broke into his BMW in the early hours of Friday morning.
After pocketing a jacket containing Mr Mason’s company logo and 30p in change, the thief took a black and silver Acer laptop containing ‘irreplacable’ photos of his 18-month-old daughter Sophie.
Mr Mason said: “People say you need to back up but I put it off and it’s too late now. My daughter’s birth, her first steps, her christening, it’s all gone.”
Mr Mason appealed for the public’s help in getting the laptop back, and has offered a £1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the thieves.
