COUNTY councillors are set to agree to expand their representation on Lancashire's health and wellbeing board.
Under the current rules, the authority already has Coun Azhar Ali, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, as the chairman, and Coun Matthew Tomlinson, cabinet member for children and young people.
West Craven division's David Whipp also attends as the third representative, councillors have been told.
But now the full council is being asked to incorporate Coun Tony Martin, who represents Burnley Central West and is also adult and community services cabinet member, to give a broader scope, as he covers a number of social care functions under his brief.
The board, which includes representatives from NHS trusts, clinical commissioning groups, the public health director and council representatives, will meet in Preston on October 15.
