A MAN awaiting sentence for attacking his mum had his case adjourned for a psychiatric report
Matthew Stephenson, 25, had hit the victim but she felt he needed help and was worried he might repeat his behaviour, the hearing at Burnley Crown Court was told. Stephenson, of Walton Street, Accrington, had admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm. He was bailed.
