PLAYS for children of all ages and a 30ft pig are just two attractions at the Horse and Bamboo’s annual puppet festival next month.
The event, off Bacup Road in Waterfoot, Rossendale, is considered the highlight of the acclaimed playhouse’s programme, and will be visited by families over the weekend of July 6.
This year there will be a series of special shows for the very young called Star and Cello Babies, and an evening comedy puppet cabaret for older audiences.
Liz Mutch of the BOO, said: “We want to welcome families to our festival and let them enjoy our events.”
