A DARWEN Town Council bond of £35,000 has matured and will be moved into a new account with Britannia Building Society in the town.
Councillors agreed to move the cash at a meeting on Tuesday night. Deputy chairman Trevor Maxfield said: “There is no point tying it up in another bond as it will be needed soon.”
