Rotary plays Santa to needy

ROTARIANS are helping Santa deliver Christmas presents to local children.
The group has this year launched a needy children’s fund at Accrington’s Asda, in which the first names, and ages, of needy children are displayed on cards from the tree within the store.
Following a drive for donations and gifts, Accrington Rotary Club will now wrap and distribute the gifts to children in the area.
Club president Malcolm Baldwin, Santa and his sleigh, will also be visiting neighbourhoods in the Accrington area, ringing a bell to announce Santa’s arrival.
