Strictly Come Dancing has started to confirm its celebrity line-up for this year's series and Dani Dyer-Bowen is the second to be announced.
The former Love Island star and daughter of actor Danny Dyer was forced to quit the competition in 2025 following a foot fracture.
The last few months have seen Dani achieve a lot, including being one of the winners of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and she launched a new TV series with her dad, The Dyers Caravan Park.
Previous TV work has included the documentaries Is This Anxiety? and Greggs v McDonalds, as well as guest appearances on Celebrity MasterChef, Celebrity Gogglebox and EastEnders.
Dani, who was born in Canning Town, won Love Island in 2018 and has since amassed 3.7 million social media followers.
She is also a best-selling author with her debut book What Would Dani Do? reaching Number 4 on the Sunday Times Bestsellers list.
Dani married footballer Jarrod Bowen in May last year and the pair share twin daughters.
She was originally part of the cast of Strictly 2025 but had to leave the show before it began so she'll be even more eager to take the Glitterball trophy home this year.
The mum-of-three said: “I am so excited to be back in the ballroom this September!
“I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one!
How much do you know about Strictly Come Dancing?
“I’m just over the moon and cannot wait to find out who else is doing it!”
So far, the BBC has announced that Lacey Turner, known for playing Stacey Slater on EastEnders, will be in the line-up.
Strictly Come Dancing new hosts announced for 2026
This year, Strictly will see three new hosts, including professional dancer Johannes Radebe, who is no stranger to the BBC show.
Broadcaster Emma Willis and comedian Josh Widdicombe also join Radebe as hosts.
The trio replace former presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who announced their departure from the programme in October 2025.
Further news about Strictly Come Dancing 2026 will be revealed throughout the summer ahead of the brand-new series getting underway.
It will be available to watch on BBC One and iPlayer this September.
