RE the letter saying we have to fight community cuts (LT, May 11). What do you propose?
We carry on borrowing and spending money we can’t afford to pay back, like the last Labour government did?
I don’t think the Labour Party caused the recession, but if they hadn’t been so handy at pouring money away when they were in power, this country would be the strongest in Europe at the moment. We had the chance and Labour blew it.
