SITA Waste Management is crushing waste electrical goods (LT, April 27). Not a good move.
Sita advertise a special service expressly for the collection of electrical waste. This is then carried to specially equipped locations for processing. These are their words, not mine – so why are they crushing these goods in the name of safety?
If the advertised service was being used and all this electrical stuff was being transported as said, people would not be put at risk.
