Would Z Ahmed (‘Our shameful colonial past’, Letters, March 28) confirm that the Mau Mau Land and Freedom Army are the same Mau Mau who burnt crops, killed cattle and murdered white farmers and their families?
Not so much an army but a terrorist organisation that also killed fellow ethnic workers who tried to defend their employers who had treated them decently.
Was it that Mau Mau, Mr Ahmed? At 75, I am old enough to remember exactly what the Mau Mau were.
