RE ‘Haslingden Health Centre set for £1.5m transformation’ (LT, March 29), is it just me or do government departments talk about ‘millions’ like it’s small change?
That building is hardly what I would call big, and I think for £300,000 I could flatten and rebuild it with marble floors and gold- plated door handles.
How can you really brag about a £1.5m refurb?
