Well done to those behind the creation of a new beauty spot in Darwen by opening up a river culvert (LT, March 30).
Wash the grime away and you’ll see an old industrial town to be proud of.
But for goodness sake, don’t knock down any more of its past.
Just open your eyes very slightly and you will see the beauty that is all around this old industrial Lancashire town.
So much of its historical past has already been lost forever, so please don’t let it become just another Blackburn!
