I FAIL to agree with Jack Herer (Opinion, May 31) that cannabis is a relatively safe drug. Indeed it is not!
Long-term use can cause schizophrenia.
Also, after trying cannabis there is a risk the user could go on to using other drugs such as cocaine.
No, cannabis should remain illegal.
