On behalf of all Labour candidates in the recent local elections in south west Blackburn – Maureen Bateson [above] in Ewood, Carl Nuttall in Meadowhead, Damian Talbot in Mill Hill and Jamie Groves in Livesey with Pleasington – can we thank all those who voted for Labour in these wards.
The electorate ensured we re-elected Labour councillors in Ewood and Mill Hill and also elected a new Labour councillor, Carl Nuttall, in Meadowhead.
Our commitment to local residents from all your local Labour councillors is to ensure we represent all sections of our communities, to play a full and active role in our wards, to campaign on your behalf and to be a strong voice for residents in these tough times.
