I HAVE just heard a statement from the Lancashire Police Federation which claims that six Lancashire MPs are not doing enough to oppose cuts to police budgets.
As a member of the public I am appalled at the 20 per cent cut to Lancashire’s police budget and at the lack of support the police have received from these MPs.
All of them are Conservative and are obviously afraid of getting on the wrong side of the Prime Minister.
It is clear that they would rather follow the party line than the will of the people who elected them.
Rest assured, the voting public will have the final say on these MPs when the next election comes along.
