I THINK the decision to teach humanism and atheism in schools is long overdue.

The various, unproven and mythological professional religions have for too long had a free market for the lives of our children.

Before birth, it’s assumed the child will be born in sin and the already brain-washed mother has to be churched.

For Christians, the system starts with baptism but I expect all professional religions will continue to get as early as possible a start to ensure that their particular brand is best.

Unfortunately, all the people who set out the rules for the various professional religions are long ago dead and can’t be summoned to explain how they came by their various beliefs.

If children were allowed to wait until they were of, say, voting age before they were subject to indoctrination, I am sure they would have more than a fewquestion to ask.
