LISTENING to Jack Straw you might think that the only controversial issue in his time as government minister was the invasion of Iraq.

There is much more.

He refused Spain’s request to extradite Augusto Pinochet thus dashing the hopes of millions of Chilean people.

The future Justice Minister denied them justice.

Straw claims to support both Israel and Palestine but he turned a blind eye to Israel’s assaults on Lebanon and Gaza, failed to uphold UN resolutions against the racist Zionist state and continued to supply them with arms.

Straw, a self-proclaimed democrat, refuses to recognise Hamas, the democratically elected leadership of the Palestinian people.

The dismemberment of Yugoslavia, the bombing of Serbia, the war in Sierra Leone, the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the strange death of Dr David Kelly, the creation of more than three thousand new crimes – all these things happened during the Labour government.

Straw was at the very heart of this murky world.
