RE Family disgust at sentence' (LET, February 18). I strongly agree that the law should be changed, as anyone who does not stop after an accident that involves a death as a result cannot be prosecuted for murder.
I cannot understand why the law has not been changed as it will only encourage drivers not to stop if they think they have injured/killed someone.
Twelve weeks for someone's life is an insult.
