I NOTICE that the Conservative candidates in Darwen are listing among 'Local Successes: Funding of £106.5m to schools across the borough for the Building Schools for the Future programme'.
Just one small, but not insignificant point to put the record straight. This is a government programme and it is the Labour Government which has allocated this funding to Blackburn with Darwen to improve our schools.
So it is rather disingenuous of local Conservatives to claim the credit. Who's spinning now?
