WITH reference to the idea of floodlighting Darwen Tower.
It seems like a good idea at first, until you realise that it will mean yet more light pollution.
We can hardly see the stars on a clear night as it is.
If the council wants to do something about Darwen Tower, how about restoring the weather vane, which has been missing for months, or is that too difficult and expensive?
