THE Editor kindly allowed me space recently to outline the problems the public have with the NHS. May I add these please.

Over the past week I have come across a doctor, who for reasons that defy all logic, expects patients to go to a pharmacist to have their blood pressure tested and then take the result back to the surgery.

I have learned of a doctor, who when personally requested to call and discuss a patient's plethora of tablets, and what they are all for, arrives without the necessary books.

Oh, and there is also the case of a nurse who calls to dress a wound but does not have any bandages, and when calling later in the day, then does not have any ointment.

Name and address supplied.
