FOR a Sunday morning walk in the late 1940s my sister and I would accompany our elder brother to the Happy Valley Cafe which was located on the Preston-Blackburn road not far from Samlesbury Hall.
I believe it was demolished in the early 1970s and a Little Chef took its place.
I was wondering any readers have a photograph or memories of this cafe which I could send to my brother for nostalgic reasons.
