IT'S never easy to dramatically change the way you've been living. I had to.
I guess the hardest part is the re-learning of my grammatical skills. I also have had to completely change the way I think.
It's like re-programming a computer, because, it seems, that's what we are.
To put it another way, I had to wipe my old programme, get rid of any viruses, and load a new programme into my life.
I used to be so negative and depressed. It was a daily dark vision that clouded my life. The storm was always present and those around me got wet too.
I have to rebuild my neural pathways. It's a bit like building blocks. I have to knock the old ones down and build some new ones.
This process takes time and lots of energy. It is a very painful process too.
I also want to extend my gratitude to the kind people of Darwen and Blackburn who have helped me with my journey. Thank you.
Darwen has a good community and should be proud of this.
I just want to send a message to anyone who is suffering from drug addiction, Reach out because it's never too late.' Stay free. I am doing it and so can you.
