Dimmed lights make it unsafe
So county council bosses have ordered some street lights to be dimmed to cut costs! (LT, January 3)
Why? Just follow the example set by Blackburn with Darwen Council who are investing £9.9million over two years to install LED lights but had no plans to dim them.
Having had these new lights installed in our area they have greatly reduced the area previous lights used to lighten, thus making it darker and unsafe late at night.
