re: Blackburn metal thieves strip gothic church organ When I was a little girl I lived on Mount pleasant and our front door faced the church.
Very sad that these historic items were stolen but why was the church not either protected or in use? It has just been sitting there empty and, it would seem, unprotected. Sign of the times?
