I agree that dogs should not be within children’s play areas but I would like to know exactly how many complaints referred to by Coun Hollern about dangerous animals and actual attacks there have been.
The vast open spaces of our parks are for all to enjoy. That includes dog owners walking their pets.
Those of us responsible enough to clean up after our pets should not be penalised.
The council need more enforcement against the irresponsible. Perhaps the civil enforcement officers could be redirected from parking enforcement for a short time to carry out this function.
