Could schools please tell us exactly what strategy does the National Curriculum lay down for teaching youngsters how to cross a road?

Is there a scheme of work? Is there even a slogan? Can any teacher inform us parents? And, if there is not, exactly what does your local authority instruct you to say?

I’m guessing the answers to all questions is ‘no precise guidelines, it is left to individual schools’.

What has replaced the Green Cross Code? Where is the advice, the catchy slogan on TV adverts?
