Wasn’t it refreshing to watch a major sporting occasion in the proper way?
I’m referring to the BBC’s professional coverage of Wimbledon.
They had the expert people doing their jobs, from the summerisers and commentators to everybody else who got involved.
Unlike the other lot, ITV, who would have runied the whole thing if they had shown it.
It was nice not to hear those dreaded words “We’ll be back after the break”.
I just wish BBC could get back the major contracts they lost, particularly live football, because ITV’s coverage of football is just torture to watch!
