How can Blackburn with Darwen council afford to build and maintain a new pool when they couldn't even maintain the four bowling greens in Darwen which are only in use for six months in the year?
The clubs now have to maintain the greens, the surrounding gardens and even empty the litter bins even though they are used by the public.
These greens have been in use for over a hundred years and are still going strong. I wonder how long this new pool last.
