YES, he is a local good guy and I’m glad he’s still got a job.
But sure BBC waste money having duplications when a major story is being reported nationally and locally.
They have a BBC reporter with a film crew, then a local reporter with a film crew.
Why not one crew and one reporter? Give the local guys a chance.
It’s the same with weather presenters – just how many have they got on salaries?
I don’t want people to lose jobs, but it seems ridiculous how many there are.
