REGARDING your front-page story about Blackburn’s former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan being the victim of an armed terror raid (LT, June 19), if anything this shows how clever the modern criminal has to be, to gain what should be secure information via the social media networks.
In my grandfather’s day, you could leave your doors open.
When we went away, my dad used to lock everything up and cancel the milk and papers.
Me, I buy two savage dogs and lock them in the house with no food, knowing this will result in one eating the other and any burglars that enter.
How times have changed!
